Wildwax - Organic paw protection for dogs

Being a dog owner means it's our responsibility to protect our pups and look after them in all kinds of weather, especially in extremes such as hot and cold as well as when we are on adventures. Introducing, Wildwax, our very own organic paw protection for dogs, a wax that protects paws on adventures and the best bit is... its organic. But how do you use it and how often?

Why does my dog need paw wax?

Cold weather can cause cuts, abrasions and chapped paws. Deicing chemicals, road salts and icy water can be a huge contributor to chapped paws, and dry out sensitive pads. Our non toxic organic wax is the must have essential for any dog owner and the must have for all adventure lovers. Paw wax is a great barrier against the elements to ensure you're looking after your pups pads and keeping your dog protected.

Is paw wax safe for my dog?

Absolutely! All the ingredients in our Wildwax is organic and safe for dogs so fear not if they lick it off as small amounts is absolutely fine for dogs as its non toxic and natural, just don't let them devour a whole tin. If your pup is a licker why not try applying the wax right before a walk when they are distracted and excited for adventure? We find that works best for our Lola. Of course if your dog has allergies or if you aren't sure, why not test a small patch and leave for 24 hours just to be on the safe side.

How often should I apply paw wax?

You can apply paw wax as often as you like for extra soft paws. Ideally the wax should be used before and after walks for extra protection. Whilst a great protector this wax is the perfect soother for a paw massage.

Top tips for paw wax application

Apply a small amount of wax to moisturise and prevent paws cracking.

Simply warm with two fingers rubbing the wax in the tin so its super easy to apply.

TOP TIP: Apply Wildwax when outdoors as surfaces such as laminate floors and tiles can be a little slippery for your dogs paws.
