It's been a busy few months here at Wildbarc with planning, photographing, and designing exciting new products which we have recently launched - hopefully you've already seen them and picked some up.

We've been over the moon to start stocking some of our favourite independent brands offering beautifully designed goods that we know our customers will love as much as we do. We want to continue to find amazing small businesses that embrace the outdoors, share our eco values, and like us, are passionate about the products they create. Our community of makers, explorers, walkers, adventurers and four legged sniffers is growing!

With so many new goodies we thought we'd tell you a little bit more about each of them in this round up blog.

This Way Maps & Mini-Maps

This Way is a map making project run by Emily Macaulay and Felicity Rowley. When they are not making maps they can usually be found outside exploring new places on foot, searching for the UK's more unusual tourist attractions.

If you love maps (like us) then these will not disappoint. Not only are they pieces of design artwork but also serve as a superb resource for discovering new trails, locations and in some finding creating your own journey. Made of recycled paper and packaged with no plastic in sight, This Way Maps are more than just a map. 

All slightly different in their approach, but all full of details such as points of interest, places to grab a beer along the trail, wildlife info and often forgotten gems that you may not have discovered yet. Shop our map collection here.

Happy When Wild Enamel Mug

Our full colour printed, in-house illustrated retro style fine enamel mugs are durable, long-lasting and perfect for use at home, camping or for hot/cold drinks whilst out on the trail.

Hand crafted and coated with a white enamel paint, each mug is then finished with a silver rim. The illustration is hand drawn then reproduced for digital print.

"Happy When Wild" has become somewhat of a mantra for us at Wildbarc HQ and reflects the essence of going offline to enjoy your surroundings.

Scouts Honour Merit Badges & Wildbarc Bandana

Scouts Law describes a scout as being ‘Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.” We think more than a few of these apply to our furry friends!

We will be growing our collection of doggy patches throughout 2022, so it was definitely the right time to release our premium quality 100% Organic Cotton bandanas. Continuing with our simple and functional approach to all our products, the Wildbarc Bandana is designed to fit around your dogs collar ensuring it doesn't get lost on the trail unlike knot tied bandanas. Talybont Recycle Climbing Rope Dog Lead

Talybont, our lime and black recycled climbing rope dog lead has joined our ever growing rope collection. We loved the brightness of this rope and after testing it out on Lola with her continued road walking training we were impressed with the glow it gave when lights shine on it. Made us feel much safer when walking in the dark. Made of the same quality you would expect from our rope leads, Talybont is available in 4ft and 5ft lengths with a 12kn locking carabiner ensuring your dog can not detach itself from their lead.

We hope you like these new products as much as we love finding and making them. We've met some lovely small business owners along the way and are so so so pleased to be selling there items in our shop. Loads more new gear coming in the next few months for your pooch, and also some amazing new outdoor gear dropping soon for all the humans out there!
